Model 32-5154M (Matte Finish) 5-15x40mm I've had this scope in hand for a pretty good while prior to writing this report and have had it on several rifles of varying recoil levels from heavy to light to practically noneexistant in the .22 rimfires. It has worked well in all. Optics are bright and clear which I have come to expect from Bushnell in their Elite series scopes This one was a replacement for an Elite 3200 4-12 AO which was defective when received. Yes it happens with all brands from time to time but Laura was quick to ship me a replacement and was happy to change it to a 5-15 as I decided I wanted more power. It started out on a Ruger Model 1B in 6 MM Remington and now sits on a super accurate Browning Model 1885 Low Wall in .243. While on this rifle I decided to do the "around the clock" test on it to see how well the adjustments tracked and how accurate they were. The test consisted of shooting groups on a target with five one inch black target squares. One is centered on the 8.5" x 11" target sheet. Two are above center square by 3" and left/rigt of it by 2" and two are below it by the same amounts. I started with gun shooting to point of aim at 100 yards and then moved the cross hairs 8 clicks left and 12 clicks up and group was well centered on the upper left square. I then moved 16 clicks right and group was well centered on upper right square, down 24 clicks and it was centered on the lower right square. Then over left by 16 clicks groups was centered on lower left square. I then moved it up 12 clicks and right 8 clicks and it was again centered on the center square when I had started out. This proved to my satisfaction there was no back lash or hesitation in the adjustments and they were very precisely 1/4" as stated at 100 yards. When mounted on the .22 LR rifle it was easy to see the .22 bullet holes even in the black at 100 yards. I've not had a chance to do any long range shooting with it but that is why it was placed on the LW .243 as I was planning to attend a shoot in GA where targets were to be from 400-900 yards off but the event had to be canceled due to the work schedule of the shoot organizer so that planned test fell thru. Still I've used this scope quite a long time and for a variety of guns and shooting and am confident I know what it will do. If you have need of a scope in this general power range (most of the competitor's products are 4.5-14) then this is one excellent choice for you. The Bushnell Elite Series of scopes carries a life time warranty. Here is what Chris Lalik wrote to me regarding the Elite warranty. "Our Elite riflescope warranty requires no proof of purchase or handling fee and is good forever. On our Elite riflesopes we also have a "No Questions Asked 1 year warranty" which says that a consumer can return an Elite for ANY reason & get their money back. Our electronic sights have 2-year warranties. Also, for reference, our customer service line is (800)423-3537." That's a pretty strong warranty and I think should be equal to or superior to any in the industry. It says a lot about how strongly Bushnell believes in their Elite line of scopes and the ones I've tested so far certainly justify that feeling on their part. I have come to feel that the Bushnell scopes are as good as any and better than most. For rifles they have become the scope of choice for me. This scope and the entire Bushnell Elite 3200/4200 line gets an enthusiastic thumbs up Excellence. Like all scopes in the Bushnell Elite Line it is fully multicoated and also has the exclusive Bushnell Rainguard finish on the outer lens. Of this Rainguard finish Bushnell has this to say: "Our exclusive hydrophobic (water-repellent) coating on which condensation from exposure to rain, fog or snow forms in much smaller droplets than on standard coatings. Smaller droplets scatter less light which results in increased light transmission and a much clearer sight picture. Now, the hunter won't miss the shot of a lifetime because he accidentally breathes on his eyepiece while aiming."
