Does anyone know WHY this cartridge was discontinued by H&R?  Unsafe, unloved,

It is hard for me to figure how anyone could get worked up, for or against, concerning a 762x39.
It is what it is, If not for the SKS I would never have had anything to do with it.  I have a need for a deer, coyote round that I can shoot at ranges 25-75 yd ranges that will kill clean without much recoil.  Plus I reload for 30 cal and have bulk bullits and brass is cheap.

Also I think it would be accurate in a Handi, have you heard how well it shoots in those CZ's.  My friend has one that is under 1moa out of the box.  Has anyone shot one in a Handi?

Now the cartridge that I think is really useless and should be banned and users shot is a...........

sorry just stirring the old poop pot a bit.  I only get serious about things like taking ALL the bullits from us.

My handi 7.62 maybe the best moa gun i have. It has a 4x $29.99 scope on it, thats all that has been done to it. My handi 22 hornet my give it a run.
